The book of Proverbs gives us several verses to help us understand what God considers foolishness. This is often called the book of wisdom because it contrasts fools and wise.
Hang out with me during this month April in the book of Proverbs, and let’s explore a daily verse together. This book has 31 chapters, so every month of the year, I like to come back to it over and over and read the chapter that corresponds to the date. Faith comes from hearing and hearing from the word of God (Romans 10:17).
Proverbs 1: 23
Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.
God is promising to pour out His own spirit on me. I Believe it. This promise teaches me that every time I open the word of God, because I have received the Holy Spirit, God will teach me his word.
God wants me to know his word so that I can walk in obedience to him.
Thank you Lord for your Spirit in me. Thank you for filling me afresh today and renewing your Spirit within me. Let my life be a testimony of your love, and a vessel for your glory. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen!
